The Great Ride Milano–Cortina, an event for cycling enthusiasts that blends sport, nature, and discovery.
The Great Ride Milano Cortina it’s an immersive experience that weaves together the soul of Italy — its craftsmanship, culture, and breathtaking. We partnered with Fondazione Cortina on a 500 km adventure, from the urban energy of Milan to the majesty of the mountains, handling the entire visual production — from concept to photo and video shooting.
A multifaceted project that called for a strong artistic direction to highlight every nuance of the route: the epic Dolomite climbs, the culinary stops, the art-filled cities, and the emotions of the riders. Our approach embraced a contemporary yet authentic aesthetic, bridging the athletic spirit of the event with the cultural richness of the territory.
Our aim was to shape a story, visually and emotionally, that reflects the spirit of The Great Ride: slow-paced, inclusive, and open to all. The imagery captures the beauty of the journey without embellishment — with sincerity and emotional depth.
Sound design played a key role in the video. Each stage of the ride is underscored by the real soundtrack of the ride: breaths, wind, spinning wheels, and spontaneous conversations. This careful and sensitive approach to audio enhances the viewer’s experience, turning each scene into an immersive moment.
